M/W/DBE Opportunities: How to do Business with TZC

M/W/DBE OPPORTUNITIES
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
DOING BUSINESS WITH TZC
HOW TO GET ASSISTANCE

TZC has a DBE Team here to help DBEs navigate the procurement process for the project; TZC is willing to assist all DBE subcontractors and suppliers in obtaining access to bonds, lines of credit and insurance.  DBEs should feel free to seek assistance from the DBE Team as needed at Procurement@TZC-LLC.com

TZC has developed the following list to help DBEs and other small businesses get prepared to meet the subcontract requirements of the project:

Register as a TZC Vendor
Firms must register as a vendor to be considered for subcontract opportunities on the New NY Bridge. Just fill out the Vendor Registration Form online to get started.

Get DBE Certified
Eligible firms should seek to get certified as a DBE as soon as possible.  This certification will help your firm gain access to procurement opportunities on the New NY Bridge.

Need help navigating through the certification process? Contact Procurement@TZC-LLC.com

TZC Business Orientation Meetings
The monthly orientation is your chance to meet with the decision makers on the TZC team. Held on the second Wednesday of every month at 10 a.m., the monthly events are designed to help businesses understand how to gain access to contract opportunities on the project.

See the list of upcoming events.

Sign Letter of Assent
Firms seeking to work on the New NY Bridge are expected to be ready to work within the project site and also must be willing to sign a letter of assent to abide by the Project Labor Agreement (PLA) requirements.
Meet Insurance Requirements

Review TZC Monthly E-Blast
TZC will be issuing monthly email notifications to the entire TZC Vendor Database providing informative tidbits on subcontracting opportunities on the New NY Bridge as well as TZC’s progress in meeting the 10% DBE Goal requirement.
Submit Notice of Interest to TZC
TZC will be issuing notices on subcontract opportunities to firms in the TZC Vendor Database that provide services needed for the subcontract opportunity.  Each firm receiving this notice will be given an opportunity to express their interest in the subcontract opportunity and to provide additional information to the procurement team for consideration as the bidders list is developed.
